We are continuously implementing and updating physical, organizational, contractual and technological security measures to protect your Personal Information from loss, theft, unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. We support encryption on all transmissions to protect Personal Information submitted on our Site.

What happens to your Personal Information when you leave Quepinch?

When you delete your account, it will first be deactivated for a period of 30 days. This means that your profile is not visible on Quepinch, and the content that you have created on the Site, such as your stories, questions, and comments will also be hidden on the Site. For 30 days after deactivation, it is still possible to restore your account if it was accidentally or wrongfully deleted. After 30 days, we permanently delete your Personal Information from our systems, and you won't be able to recover this information later.

We store data until it is no longer necessary to provide our services or until your account is deleted – whichever comes first. This is a case-by-case determination that depends on things such as the nature of the data, why it is collected and processed, and relevant legal or operational retention needs. Information that others have shared about you isn't part of your account and won't be deleted.

If you don't want to delete your account but want to temporarily stop using the Site, you can deactivate your account instead. You can deactivate your account from your profile settings.
