May 1, 2020

At some stage of life, you feel dissatisfied with the way your life is going ?. You have achieved very less as compared to what you have planned for? If you are the one you who thought to shoot for the moon so that you can land among the stars but unluckily you end up ground, then this book is for you.

It will ignite and serve as a beacon for a new start.

There is a very popular quote by Benjamin Franklin "God helps those who help themselves", this is true indeed. Any change or achievement first starts with you. But here is the question comes how this book will do that for you. No worries as the title say this book will get it from where you are to where you want to be. This book helps you to work on the basic principles to work upon what many of us choose to ignore.

Jack Canfield is an American author, Motivational Speaker, Corporate Trainer, and Entrepreneur. He is the co-author of the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. His work speaks the volume of what he does the best. He would teach you how to take hold of this messed up situation you are in, and take up life as your own very first responsibility.

The Teachings of this book are not for those who have an ample amount of time to try and apply the author's suggestions and learn from them but instead, it is for those who are really in a need of something they want to accomplish in a limited period amount of time.

The author knows it is not possible to change our mindset in one day that too by our same old repeated efforts but he argues to give a new try and question our perspectives by offerings some logical reasoning about things and why they happened that way and in no other manner.

This books gives you an insight about to be clear why you are here, ask ask ask, practice, unleash the power of goal setting, believing in yourself, believing that it is possible and argue to start from now.

The paragraph above I have mentioned is nothing but the content list of the chapters so I guess it boosts your confidence and gives you spark to start this book.

The title does justice with the book for real: "How to Get from Where you are to where you want to be "  because a lot of people thought that it is hard to change their present situation.

This book is more like a conversation between the Teacher and Student and that makes the book an interesting read. I'd recommend giving it another chance at another time if you can't connect with it.
