Lesson For Everyone

Jan 9, 2021

What will you do when your parents age? This story of a son and father is sure to tug at the heartstrings.

A son took his old parents to a restaurant for an evening dinner. Father and mother being very old and weak, while eating his father dropped food on  his shirt and trousers. Others diners watched him in disgust while his son was calm and quite.

After he finished eating, his son who was not at all embarrassed, quietly took him  to the wash room, wiped the food particles, removed the stains, combed his hair and fitted  his spectacles firmly.  When they came out,  the entire restaurant was watching them in dead silence, not able to grasp how someone could embarrass themselves publicly like that.

The son settled the bill and started walking out with his parents. At that time, an old man amongst the diners called out to the son and asked him, “Don’t you think you have left something behind?” The son replied, “No sir, I haven’t." The old man retorted, “Yes, you have! You left a lesson for every son and hope for every parents".

The restaurant went silent.

Moral: To care for those who once cared for us is one of the highest honors. We all know, how our parents cared for us for every little thing. Love them, respect them, and care for them.❤️😇

Always remember one thing in life that Life is 10 percent what happens to you and 90 percent how you respond to it.😌🤷🏻‍♀️

So here is a poem dedicated to all the parents.

Memories are one of the true riches

That life offers, and right now,

So many wonderful thoughts fill our mind.

They are very special because

They are our own to treasure forever.

From the time we were a child,

We have been blessed with

The strength and support you give.

You have placed your trust in us,

And we know we can never repay you

No matter how hard we try.

We have seen in you a God-given love

And you have shown this love for us.

In everything you have done.

May God bless your lives

As fully as we have been blessed because of you.

We Love You!❤️
